Gift guide - Samir Sabé

Once again this year, Maison Michel reinvents its gift guide by inviting friends of the House to imagine its new edition. Celebrating creative affinities and the singular perspectives of personalities close to the Maison, the guide offers a personal approach to the art of gifting.

Samir Sabé is an emerging artistic director, fashion content creator, and respected avant-garde designer. At just 22 years old, this fashion and art enthusiast since childhood—a passion passed down from his mother—has made a name for himself on the international scene with his unique approach to fashion and distinctive style.

By deconstructing the ideology that men should only dress in a simple and very conventional manner, Samir Sabé expresses himself by creating poignant visuals, always accompanied by messages of identity affirmation and minority empowerment.

Samir's Gift Guide

Which hat would you give your mother?
The beautiful Blanche floppy hat would suit my mother's distinguished style perfectly. Always elegant, I can just picture her wearing it on one of our family trips, looking chic and sophisticated.

Tim, our little black felt sailor hat, is back for our next winter season. Which loved one would you give it to?
I would choose it for my big sister. The black felt goes perfectly with her refined style and the shape adds a touch of originality. I think this piece has character and I can see her wearing it perfectly on certain occasions or in her everyday life.

Which hat would you give to your big sister?
Irma, this black tweed beret decorated with small flowers and embroidered black pearls, perfectly embodies the style of my second big sister. She is elegant and loves timeless accessories to complete her looks. It's the perfect piece to accompany her refined outfits!

And for you?
I fell in love with the Lily, an original suede hat. It's the perfect piece to add style and allure to my outfits; I'll wear it with pride. It's a change from the more traditional hats I usually wear; it brings a real breath of fresh air and novelty.
