Orders placed on our website are prepared by dedicated teams at Maison Michel within one to two working days. They are picked up by the carrier on the same day or the following day.

Our products are shipped with a special packaging to insure their protection.

Once your order is shipped, you can track it with the tracking link that you receive in a dedicated email.

If the delivery time indicated is exceeded by several days, we invite you to contact our customer service at [email protected] so that we can check the progress of your order with the carrier.

Return and Exchange

You can return your order with 14 working days after the reception of your package.

For this purpose, contact our customer service with the contact form to receive the documentation needed to return your item(s).

Items must be returned in their original state, in perfect resaleable condition.

We do not make any return on made-to-measure or half-measure items.

Maison Michel does not, to date, make any exchanges.


We proceed to the refund once we have received and validated the conformity of the returned product.

You will receive an email to inform you that the refund has been done. It will take a few days for the amount to appear in your account.

To find out your size at Maison Michel, it’s easy: take a tape measure and measure your head circumference at the strongest part of your head.


Then refer to theses measures:

S = 56 cm – 22 in

M = 58 cm – 22.8 in

L = 60 cm – 23.6 in

Our sizes and our hats are unisex. If you are between two sizes, it’s better to go up a size.

If your size is not among those suggested, our workshops also offer a made-to-measure service. For this, get closer to our customer service at the address [email protected].

If you want to offer one of our hats and you don’t know the head circumference of the person, we recommend choosing the size M. It’s the most common size.


All our hats should be handled with care. To keep them for a long time, here are some follow-on tips.

  • – Manipulate the hat by the crown rather than the edges
  • – Keep your hat away from light and humidity
  • – For hats in felt, gently brush the hat with a dedicated brush
  • – Avoid contact with water, except for items with the water-resistant mention

Please note that the color of a straw hat may change slightly over time. Straw being a natural material, this is perfectly normal.

All the Maison Michel collections are designed and developed in France in our Parisian atelier. Our hats and head accessories are then manufactured in France or by our partners in Europe.

All materials used are selected with care and you can find a detailed description on every product page.

Our saleswomen are there to advise you on shape, take your measurements, etc… They can also advise you on the availability of items in store by telephone or e-mail.

However, our stores do not accept returns and exchanges of online orders. Nor can you pick up a product ordered online on site.

After-sales service

If your hat has become misshapen or stained, you can contact our customer service at [email protected] by providing pictures of your hat so that we can examine whether it can be repaired in our atelier.

If this is the case, we will estimate the time and the cost of repair and submit them to you for validation. We will then collect your hat and restore it to its original condition.


If your size doesn’t exist on our website, you want an item in a new colour or a very special hat, you can send your idea at [email protected].

Our teams will examine its feasibility and can provide you with a quote if this is the case.
